      Operation Second Chance

      Picture
100% of all donations from the 185 For Heroes event goes directly to the Operation Second Chance (OSC). The OSC mission is "to serve wounded, injured and ill combat veterans." They do this by supporting veterans and their  families while they recover in military hospitals, by building relationships and  identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests. We are dedicated to promoting public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces. To read more about this amazing cause, please visit the OSC website.

      Pacific 2012

      Picture
185 for Heroes has teamed up with Pacific 2012 with a common goal of raising funds and awareness for Operation Second Chance. The Pacific 2012 Expedition is a solo and unsupported trans-Pacific row headed by Charlie Martell. Charlie will launch his row in May from Japan and will spend nearly five months rowing until he reaches California.
