I’m originally from North Eastern Pennsylvania and am currently in my 18th year of Active Duty service in the United States Navy. As a friend and Shipmate to the founders, Clay and Ashley, I have been a supporter of 185 For Heroes since the beginning.
Shortly after their inaugural run, I deployed to Afghanistan for 11 months. That experience, and the amazing American’s I met there, further solidified my desire to support those who have sacrificed so much for our country. I recently moved to Maryland from Hawaii and was honored when Clay and Lauren approached me in the winter of 2015 and asked if I would consider running for the position of Vice President. This is something I have always held near to my heart, so I was overjoyed to win the position and I absolutely love working with the 185 Team.
I am a 2013 graduate of Hawaii Pacific University with a B.S. in Diplomacy. In addition to 185, I am also an active volunteer with several other Military organizations as well as the Humane Society and Fur-ever Dachshund Rescue. I have completed multiple 5K, 10Ks as a charity runner; as well as a half and a full marathon.
